Driving Directions
Via Merritt Parkway from North or South:
Get off at Exit 37 (New Canaan-Darien). At
end of ramp, turn left onto South Avenue. Proceed 2+ miles to the end of
South Avenue in downtown New Canaan, and take a left on Elm Street, which
is one way. Travel one half block to the stop light, and take a right on
Park Street. Proceed up hill and then bear right, down the hill. Take a
left at the stop sign at the bottom of the hill, onto Oenoke Ridge Road.
Go up the hill and around the bend. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (203
966-4515) is on your right and The First Presbyterian Church (203
966-0002) is a couple of hundred yards beyond on your left, across from
the Roger Sherman Inn.
Via I-95 from North:
Get off at Exit 13. At end of ramp bear
right on to Route 1 (Boston Post Road) and proceed to first left (no
light) onto West Norwalk Road. Proceed on West Norwalk Road for 2
1/2 miles over The Merritt Parkway. At this point, West Norwalk Road
becomes White Oak Shade Road. Follow White Oak Shade Road to a four-way
stop with Farm Road on your left, and Old Norwalk Road on your right.
Continue straight through the four-way stop, where White Oak Shade Road
becomes Main Street. Stay on Main Street through downtown New Canaan,
past the library and the fire station. Continue through the stop light at
the fire station, where Main Street becomes Oenoke Ridge Road. Go up the
hill and around the bend. St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (203 966-4515) is
on your right and The First Presbyterian Church (203 966-0002) is a couple
